About the Role: Stocker

As a Stocker at Costco, your core job is to make sure merchandise is properly stocked, displayed, and signed throughout the warehouse. You’ll be removing empty pallets, clearing debris, operating the cardboard bailer and trash compactor, and making sure displays are set up safely for members. Responsibilities

• Stock and straighten merchandise throughout the warehouse following established merchandising standards
• Communicate with supervisors and managers to determine merchandising priorities and create pick lists for forklift drivers
• Use a box knife to open product for display, and wrap or tag pallets for return to steel storage
• Move and position pallets of merchandise using a manual pallet jack
• Create and verify computer-generated product signage and mark unmarked items using a marking gun
• Set up and modify display models, including assembling items and securing heavy equipment for safe member access
• Maintain a clean floor by pulling loose cardboard, sweeping, removing empty pallets, and operating the cardboard bailer and trash compactor
• Assist members by helping load large items, directing them to products, and sharing product knowledge

Requirements / Skills

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory
• No prior experience required — this is an accessible entry-level opportunity
• Physical stamina to handle merchandise, operate equipment, and stay on your feet throughout your shift
• Attention to detail when it comes to product placement, signage accuracy, and following merchandising standards
• Member service skills — friendly, helpful, and willing to assist shoppers as needed
• Bilingual in French (oral and written) required for candidates applying to Quebec locations
