About the Role: Stocker

Responsibilities
Stockers at Costco are the backbone of a well-run warehouse floor. From managing product levels to ensuring a clean and safe shopping environment, the responsibilities below reflect the full scope of what this role involves on a daily basis.
- Stock and straighten merchandise throughout the warehouse following established merchandising standards
- Communicate with supervisors and managers to determine merchandising priorities and create pick lists for forklift drivers
- Use a box knife to open product for display, and wrap or tag pallets for return to steel storage
- Move and position pallets of merchandise using a manual pallet jack
- Create and verify computer-generated product signage and mark unmarked items using a marking gun
- Set up and modify display models, including assembling items and securing heavy equipment for safe member access
- Maintain a clean floor by pulling loose cardboard, sweeping, removing empty pallets, and operating the cardboard bailer and trash compactor
- Assist members by helping load large items, directing them to products, and sharing product knowledge
Requirements / Skills
