Responsibilities

  • Recruit and conduct health and wellness clinics and document interventions as permitted by provincial regulations
  • Adapt, extend, and modify prescriptions and perform specific acts under prescriber delegation, including medication administration by injection where permitted
  • Conduct full medication reviews, including best possible medication histories, medication reconciliation, and medication therapy management
  • Order and communicate laboratory tests to the extent permitted by provincial regulations
  • Act as Pharmacist-In-Charge in the absence of the pharmacy manager and supervise pharmacy interns and students
  • Maintain professional competence through continuing education and keep all required certifications current and in good standing
