About the Role: Merchandising Manager

The Merchandising Manager – Quebec is responsible for supporting key Dealer committees — including Advertising, Automotive, and FMA — through strategic planning, advertising development, and the execution of merchandising initiatives across the province. You’ll prepare agendas, presentations, and materials for provincial meetings, and act as a central point of contact between committees and corporate partners. A solid understanding of day-to-day store operations and their practical realities is essential to performing effectively in this role.

On the promotional side, you’ll lead regional advertising and promotional planning in collaboration with Dealers and Corporate partners, continuously seeking innovative ways to reach Quebec customers and drive in-store traffic. This includes liaising with the national advertising team to ensure regional initiatives align with broader plans, and supporting the FMA Committee in implementing large-scale commercial opportunities. You’ll also negotiate local advertising and promotional programs with vendors to maximize ROI, then track, analyze, and present performance results to committees and stakeholders.

Canadian Tire offers a competitive salary with a typical hiring range of $79,000 to $105,000, depending on experience, industry benchmarks, and internal equity. Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll wear several hats — from committee coordinator and advertising strategist to budget manager and regional communicator. The responsibilities span across planning, execution, and performance reporting, all in service of strengthening the Quebec Dealer network and driving commercial results.

  • Support Dealer committees including Advertising, Automotive, and FMA with ongoing coordination, agendas, and presentations for provincial meetings

  • Support the FMA Committee in implementing large-scale commercial opportunities, working closely with merchants and suppliers
