Stocker – Costco – Langley, BC

Costco’s warehouse in Langley, BC is looking for a reliable and hardworking Stocker to join the team at their location on 64th Avenue. This is a hands-on, physical role at the heart of warehouse operations — keeping the sales floor stocked, organized, and safe for members every single day.

As a Stocker, you’ll be working directly on the warehouse floor, handling merchandise, operating equipment like manual pallet jacks and a shrink-wrap machine, and making sure product is always well-presented and accessible.

About the Role: Stocker

Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for maintaining high product levels on the sales floor by stocking shelves, aligning merchandise, and retrieving product from steel storage with the help of a forklift driver. You’ll use tools like a box knife and marking gun, create computer-generated signs, and set up or modify product displays to meet both merchandising standards and member safety requirements.

This role also involves keeping the warehouse floor clean and clear — pulling cardboard, sweeping debris, removing empty pallets, and operating the cardboard bailer and trash compactor. You’ll communicate regularly with supervisors and managers to align on priorities, and you’ll interact directly with members by helping them load large items and directing them to products. Safety and security procedures are a core part of the job at all times.

Responsibilities

Stockers at Costco keep the warehouse running smoothly by ensuring product is always available, correctly signed, and safely displayed. The role covers everything from merchandise stocking and pallet handling to member assistance and floor maintenance — making it a varied and active position.

• Stock and straighten merchandise on the sales floor following Costco’s merchandising standards and practices
• Communicate with supervisors and managers to determine the merchandising plan and priorities, and write lists of products to be retrieved from steel
• Operate a manual pallet jack to move and position pallets of merchandise throughout the warehouse
• Use a box knife to cut boxes for product display and accessibility, and cut twine or shrink-wrap from pallets
• Create computer-generated signs and ensure correct product signage; mark unmarked product with item numbers using a marking gun
• Set up and modify display models, assembling as necessary and making adjustments for safe member handling (e.g., bolting heavy equipment, taping blade edges)
• Maintain a clean floor by pulling loose cardboard and slip-sheets, sweeping debris, and removing empty pallets from the sales floor
• Operate the cardboard bailer, trash compactor, and shrink-wrap machine
• Assist members by loading large items into their carts, directing them to products, and sharing product status knowledge

Requirements / Skills

You don’t need prior warehouse experience to apply — what matters most is a strong work ethic and the ability to follow safety and merchandising procedures.

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred, though not mandatory
• No prior experience is required — Costco will provide training on the job
• Physical capability to handle merchandise, operate a manual pallet jack, and remain active throughout a shift
• Attention to detail for maintaining correct product signage, alignment, and stocking levels
• Member service skills — the ability to interact helpfully and courteously with warehouse members
• French language proficiency (oral and written) is required for candidates applying to Quebec locations; this posting is in Langley, BC
