Responsibilities

The Stocker role at Costco covers a broad range of day-to-day duties on the warehouse floor. You’ll be expected to manage product placement, signage, pallet handling, and member assistance — all while keeping safety and cleanliness top of mind throughout every shift.

  • Use a box knife to cut boxes for display and product accessibility, and to cut twine or shrink-wrap from pallets
  • Move and position pallets of merchandise using a manual pallet jack; stack product from partial pallets onto full pallets
  • Create and verify signage using computer-generated sign systems; mark unmarked product with item numbers using a marking gun
  • Set up and modify display models, including assembling units and making safety adjustments such as bolting heavy equipment or taping blade edges
  • Maintain a clean sales floor by pulling cardboard and slip-sheets, sweeping debris, removing empty pallets, and operating the cardboard bailer, trash compactor, and shrink-wrap machine
  • Assist members by helping load large items into carts, directing them to products, and sharing knowledge about product status and availability

Requirements / Skills
