Bakery Wrapper – Costco – Calgary, AB
Location: Calgary, AB | Company: Costco Wholesale
Calgary’s Costco warehouse on 32nd Street NE is looking for a Bakery Wrapper to join their busy bakery team.
Day to day, you’ll be working in the bakery department — garnishing, packaging, labelling, and restocking freshly baked goods. It’s a role that keeps you moving and plays a direct part in the quality of products that members pick up every day.
About the Role: Bakery Wrapper
As a Bakery Wrapper, your primary focus is on the finishing and packaging side of the bakery operation. You’ll handle everything from removing baked goods out of their containers to applying icings, glazes, and wrapping products — either by hand or using a wrapping machine. Assembling cardboard boxes, weighing items, and applying accurate labels are all part of the regular workflow.
Keeping up with food safety standards is a key part of this position. You’ll be expected to monitor pull dates, rotate stock, cull any defective or out-of-spec products, and keep both the wrapping and sales areas clean and compliant with health code requirements. You’ll also interact with members on the floor, so a courteous attitude matters.
