Responsibilities

As a Pharmacy Student at Costco Lethbridge, your day-to-day work spans clinical support, member service, and pharmacy operations — all under the watchful guidance of a licensed pharmacist.   • Communicate with patients regarding OTC products and answer questions under pharmacist supervision, referring appropriately when needed
  • Provide prescription counselling education depending on competency level and provincial regulation, under pharmacist direction
  • Identify and recruit patients eligible for the medication review program and assist the pharmacist in performing those services
  • Support Health Promotion Clinics by working with the pharmacist to develop, recruit for, and run these initiatives
  • Stock drugs, supplies, and OTC merchandise and help keep the pharmacy clean and well organised
