About the Role: Service Technician

As a Service Technician, you will be at the heart of Tesla’s service operations, performing diagnostic and repair work on Tesla’s product line. You’ll collaborate with design and engineering teams to improve repair procedures and contribute to Tesla’s commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences. Responsibilities of a Service Technician

  • Perform basic and advanced diagnostic and repair work on Tesla vehicles, including high-voltage systems after training.
  • Provide feedback to Tesla design and engineering teams to improve repair procedures and products.
  • Maintain detailed and concise documentation of repairs and processes.
  • Inspect and maintain shop equipment, requesting replacements as necessary.
  • Collaborate with team members in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Support vehicle delivery by cleaning and detailing vehicles as needed.
  • Follow all safety and security procedures, ensuring a safe work environment.

Requirements for the Service Technician Role

  • High School Diploma or Associate Degree/Certificate, or work experience in a related field (e.g., aeronautics, engines, electrical systems).
  • Automotive Service Technician License or a desire to become a Technician Apprentice through provincial schooling.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Section 609 Refrigerant handling certification preferred.
  • Proven commitment to safety in all aspects of work.
  • Bilingual in French and English, with English proficiency required for communication, documentation, and software use.
  • Valid Class 5, G, or G2 driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
