About the Role: Associate Collision Manager

As the Associate Collision Manager at Tesla’s Longueuil collision centre, you’ll serve as the process leader for your assigned shift, working closely with the Collision Manager to scale shop production and meet company targets. You’ll set and uphold work standards, monitor safety compliance, and ensure every team member is properly trained and aligned with facility goals.

This position also involves a strong people management component — you’ll hold regular one-on-one development meetings, schedule staff to meet operational needs, and communicate daily with both on-site staff and clients across Canadian provinces, primarily in English. The ability to think critically, perform root cause analysis, and develop quick countermeasures when issues arise is essential to success in this role.

Benefits and Salary

Tesla offers a competitive annual salary for this role, ranging from $92,000 to $138,000 CAD for the Associate Collision Manager level, plus cash and stock awards. Responsibilities

The Associate Collision Manager plays a central role in keeping the collision centre running smoothly and efficiently. From supervising shift operations to developing team members and maintaining safety standards, every part of this role is geared toward delivering a high-quality repair experience while hitting the facility’s operational targets.

• Supervise and coach the assigned shift team to consistently meet quality benchmarks and facility goals
• Lead shift operations as the process leader, defining and continuously improving work standards in collaboration with technicians
• Monitor safety compliance to ensure all employees follow collision centre safety regulations and programs
• Manage shop workflow, including maintaining shop records and inventories and coordinating the flow of work through the facility
• Schedule staff to meet operational needs while accommodating vacations and absences in line with company policy
• Support team development through regular one-on-one meetings, training coordination, and career growth conversations
• Communicate daily with all team members to align on goals and surface any issues affecting the facility or broader organization
• Partner with the Collision Manager to scale shop production and collaborate with key stakeholders to meet company targets

Requirements / Skills

Tesla is looking for a candidate who combines technical collision expertise with strong leadership instincts. The ideal person is comfortable managing competing priorities, holding teams accountable, and communicating effectively across departments and provinces. Bilingual candidates are welcome, though daily communication in English is a core requirement of this role.

• 1–5+ years of leadership experience in a collision centre, refurbishment centre, service centre, or similar operation
• 5–10+ years of collision technical experience or demonstrated technical aptitude in the collision repair field
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, including the ability to lead root cause analysis and develop quick countermeasures
• Customer interaction skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients as needed
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and a solid understanding of repair estimates
• Valid driver’s licence (preferred)
• English language proficiency required for daily communication with staff and clients outside of Quebec
