Full Time Driver – UPS – Kamloops, BC

UPS is hiring Full-Time Courier Drivers out of their Kamloops Package Facility in Kamloops, BC. About the Role: Courier Driver

As a Courier Driver at the Kamloops facility, your day revolves around safe and efficient package delivery to both residential and commercial customers. You’ll be assigned a vehicle each shift and expected to manage your route professionally while meeting delivery windows and maintaining a high standard of customer service.

The role requires physical fitness — you’ll be lifting, sorting, and moving packages weighing between 10 and 70 lbs throughout your shift. Working in various weather conditions is part of the job, and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment is essential to your success.

Responsibilities

Each day as a UPS Courier Driver is centred around delivering packages safely and on time across your assigned route. From the pre-trip inspection at the start of your shift to your final pick-up of the day, attention to detail and a customer-first mindset keep operations running smoothly.

• Conduct pre-trip inspections of your assigned vehicle to confirm it’s safe and roadworthy before heading out
• Deliver packages to residential and business customers throughout the Kamloops area on a daily basis
• Lift, sort, and move parcels weighing between 10 and 70 lbs throughout your shift
• Load and unload packages from the vehicle during drop-offs and pick-ups
• Operate a DIAD system to navigate addresses and postal codes accurately and efficiently
• Maintain professionalism in all customer-facing interactions in a variety of environments and weather conditions

Requirements / Skills

The ideal candidate for this Courier Driver role is reliable, physically capable, and comfortable working outdoors in all types of weather. • Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s Licence is mandatory — no exceptions
• Clean driving record required for all applicants
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs (32 kg) unassisted on a regular basis throughout the shift
• Availability Monday to Friday to meet operational scheduling requirements
• Excellent verbal communication skills for professional customer interactions
• Customer service and/or driving experience is considered an asset
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and a fast-paced environment
