About the Role: Video Strategy Lead

Responsibilities

As the Video Strategy Lead, you’ll be expected to operate both strategically and tactically — shaping market approach while staying close enough to client realities to drive real outcomes.

  • Partner with sales to build and execute plans that exceed customer objectives and drive video revenue across YouTube and third-party inventory
  • Identify new strategic opportunities for Google to drive incremental impact and incubate solutions in market

Requirements / Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in digital media, sales, marketing, or product roles
  • Experience working with digital organizations and identifying ways to improve product and customer strategy
  • Experience planning, buying, and measuring offline and online media (preferred)
  • Creator campaign strategy experience, including managing digital creator campaigns to drive business impact (preferred)
  • Proficiency in mining data to create insights and build compelling stories and narratives (preferred)
  • Strong business acumen with a proven track record of identifying how market trends translate into business opportunities (preferred)
  • Skills in brand measurement, attribution, and inspiring followership (preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to develop and deliver simple, compelling messages that translate into sales narratives (preferred)
