About the Role: Package Handler/Non-Driver
As a Package Handler, your primary focus is on the physical movement of freight within the facility. Responsibilities
Day to day, this role centres on the physical handling of freight within the facility. Your work ensures that packages are accurately tracked, correctly sorted, and loaded or unloaded in a timely manner — all essential to keeping FedEx’s delivery operations running on schedule.
- Load and unload freight from trailers and delivery vehicles within the facility
- Scan packages using FedEx systems to maintain accurate shipment tracking
- Complete all required training, including basic onboarding and recurrency certifications
- Follow Canadian Customs regulations and FedEx Canada operational procedures
- Operate in a PC/Windows environment as needed for scanning and processing tasks
- Work varying shifts as business needs require, maintaining reliability and punctuality
Requirements / Skills

- Physical capability to lift 70 lbs independently and manoeuvre packages up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment
- High School Diploma or GED preferred

- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to complete all mandatory training and maintain required accreditations
- Bilingualism (French and English) required for candidates residing in the province of Quebec
