About the Role: Collision Technician

As a Collision Technician with Tesla in Kirkland, you’ll perform both structural and cosmetic collision repairs on Tesla’s full lineup. This means working with Celette Frame Jigs to set new structural components, gluing, riveting, and welding replacement parts, and restoring exterior panels through metal finishing and body filler. The scope of repairs covers body panels, suspension components, vehicle structure, radiators, airbags, and trim.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day work as a Collision Technician at Tesla centres on delivering high-quality repairs that meet the brand’s exacting standards.   • Operate Celette Frame Jigs to accurately set new structural components
  • Glue, rivet, and weld structural components being replaced, with proficiency in MIG welding
  • Restore exterior cosmetic panels using metal finishing techniques and body filler
  • Replace all parts associated with collision repair, including body panels, suspension parts, vehicle structure, radiators, airbags, and trim
  • Adhere to Tesla’s service standards while working effectively in a team-based environment
  • Communicate daily in English with staff and clients across Canadian provinces as required

Requirements / Skills

  • 5+ years of experience as an Automotive Collision Repair Technician
  • CPA Card is required
