Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of FedEx’s ground operations in Woodbridge. Your core duties revolve around moving freight accurately and efficiently through the facility, supporting the broader logistics chain that customers depend on.

  • Load and unload freight from vehicles and conveyor systems within the facility
  • Lift and maneuver packages weighing up to 70 lbs independently, and up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment
  • Complete all basic and recurrency training as required by FedEx Canada
  • Operate in a PC Windows environment as needed for scanning and logistics tasks
  • Adhere to FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations as applicable

Requirements / Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Physical ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment
  • Good interpersonal skills to work effectively alongside team members
  • Ability to complete all mandatory training and achieve minimum thresholds on required assessments
  • Familiarity with FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations is considered an asset
