About the Role: Service Technician (Afternoon Shift)

As a Tesla Service Technician, you are the cornerstone of the service centre. You’ll handle both routine and complex repair work across the full Tesla product lineup, using a combination of high-quality tools and company-supplied diagnostic technology to get the job done right. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality directly impacts the customer experience.

Collaboration and communication are central to how Tesla’s service teams operate. You’ll work closely with colleagues to maximise repair efficiency, maintain a safe and respectful shop environment, and provide direct feedback to Tesla’s design and engineering teams — helping to continuously improve products and procedures from the ground up.

Tesla offers competitive hourly compensation that scales with your level of experience and certification. Pay ranges are as follows: Service Technician I: $25.41–$38.12/hour, Service Technician II: $29.48–$44.21/hour, and Service Technician III: $34.56–$51.83/hour — plus cash and stock awards for all levels. Responsibilities

Tesla Technicians are responsible for the full cycle of vehicle diagnostics and repair, from straightforward maintenance tasks to complex, advanced work. Your contributions keep service operations running smoothly and ensure every customer receives a vehicle that meets Tesla’s high standards.

  • Execute both basic and advanced diagnostic and repair work on all Tesla products
  • Collaborate with team members to maximise repair efficiency and ensure exceptional product delivery, including vehicle cleaning and detailing
  • Operate a variety of high-quality hand, power, and shop tools
  • Utilise a company-supplied laptop for diagnostics and online training
  • Document repairs accurately and inspect and maintain shop equipment, requesting replacements as necessary
  • Provide direct feedback to Tesla’s design and engineering teams to continuously enhance repair procedures and products
  • Maintain a collaborative, inclusive, and respectful attitude in a dynamic work environment

Requirements / Skills
