About the Role: Onsite Medical Representative

This position offers a base salary range of $28.00 to $36.00 CAD per hour. As a total compensation employer, Amazon’s package may also include sign-on payments and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). Responsibilities

Day-to-day, the Onsite Medical Representative serves as the primary point of care on the warehouse floor. From administering first aid and managing injury documentation to proactively engaging with associates about safe work habits, your work directly shapes the health outcomes of the team around you.

  • Provide first aid support and make referrals to outside medical providers as necessary
  • Assess and treat both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses independently
  • Maintain all records of care provided to Amazon Associates, including daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports
  • Coordinate workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs for associates with work-related injuries
  • Coach associates and leadership on observed at-risk work habits directly on the operations floor
  • Participate in safety committee meetings and weekly case management review meetings as required
  • Maintain credentials including valid first aid, CPR, and AED certifications at all times
  • Assist with drug testing protocols and support emergency response at the site
  • Manage medical supply inventory and maintain a clean, organized working environment

Requirements / Skills

Amazon is looking for a credentialed healthcare professional with a strong foundation in emergency and occupational health care. The ideal candidate brings a calm, proactive approach to a demanding physical environment and is comfortable working autonomously while collaborating with a broader safety team.

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Valid standard first aid with CPR/AED (Level A or C) certification from a WSIB-approved authority in Ontario
  • Valid Provincial Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) Certification from the Ministry of Health and/or the Canadian Organization of Paramedic Regulators, OR a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) designation from the applicable provincial authority
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products for documentation and reporting
  • Physical fitness to lift up to 49 lbs and stand/walk for up to 12 hours per shift
  • Experience with workers’ compensation processes and OSHA regulations is a strong asset
  • Certification to teach first aid, CPR, and AED from the Canadian Red Cross is preferred
