As an Area Manager II, you’re accountable for the day-to-day performance of your department — including safety, quality, productivity, and on-time customer delivery. You’ll lead planning sessions, facilitate alignment meetings with senior leadership, and develop scalable process improvements that can impact 200+ associates across multiple workflows. Your decisions aren’t just operational — they shape the experience customers have every time an Amazon package arrives at their door.

This is a physically active role that requires working flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays. You’ll be on your feet for shifts of up to 12 hours, working in environments with variable temperatures and noise levels — including outdoor loading areas at delivery stations. Benefits and Salary

The base salary range for this position is $75,000 to $105,000 CAD annually, with final compensation determined by experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon’s total compensation package may also include sign-on payments and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). Benefits include health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, basic life and AD&D insurance), a Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), a Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP), paid time off, and additional resources to support health and well-being.

Requirements / Skills

  • 2+ years of employee and performance management experience, with demonstrated ability to lead and develop hourly teams
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
  • Flexible scheduling availability, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
  • Experience with performance metrics and process improvement (Lean Six Sigma and/or Kaizen is an asset)
  • Experience managing large teams of 50 or more members is preferred
