About the Role: Seasonal Courier

As a Seasonal Courier with FedEx Canada in Barrie, you’ll be responsible for the efficient and professional pick-up and delivery of packages along an assigned route. Responsibilities

This role puts you at the heart of FedEx’s delivery operations in Barrie. Each day brings a mix of driving, customer interaction, and logistical problem-solving — all of which contribute directly to the reliability FedEx is known for across Canada.

  • Deliver and collect packages efficiently and safely along an assigned route while maintaining a professional, courteous manner
  • Inspect shipments for conformance to FedEx Canada features of service, ensuring proper labelling and accurate paperwork
  • Plan routes and load your van to maximise delivery and pick-up efficiency while securing all FedEx and customer property
  • Operate computerised tracking and dispatch systems with accurate data entry
  • Inform customers about FedEx Canada’s services and answer questions regarding domestic, US, and international shipping requirements
  • Identify sales leads from existing customers and relay market intelligence to the sales department
  • Report stop counts and missorts accurately and in a timely manner
  • Assist with aircraft/container loading, unloading, sorting, and scanning as operational needs dictate
  • Operate your vehicle safely and in full compliance with government regulations and company procedures

Requirements / Skills

  • Valid Class G Driver’s Licence (full G required — G2 is not acceptable) with two or fewer violations/accidents in the past 24 months
