About the Role: Social Channels and Platform Manager

As the Social Channels and Platform Manager, you’ll serve as the guardian of Prime Video’s editorial plans across assigned social platforms. Your day-to-day will involve managing social media handles, allocating organic boosting budgets, and working closely with title teams, brand teams, and external agencies to ensure the right content reaches the right audiences at the right time. You’ll also be the first to adopt new platform features and identify opportunities to grow Prime Video’s social footprint.

Beyond execution, you’ll develop data-driven strategies that elevate Prime Video’s social presence at scale. You’ll track and analyze results on weekly, monthly, and quarterly cadences, and communicate findings clearly to internal stakeholders. Benefits and Salary

The base salary range for this position is $67,000 to $111,800 CAD annually, with final compensation based on experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon’s total compensation package may also include sign-on payments and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). Benefits include health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, basic life & AD&D), a Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), a Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP), paid time off, and additional resources to support health and well-being.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll take ownership of Prime Video’s social media handles across multiple platforms, working across internal teams and external agencies to deliver compelling content. Your contributions will directly influence how one of the world’s most prominent streaming brands is experienced by audiences internationally.

  • Manage day-to-day Prime Video social media handles, overseeing editorial plans and resolving operational challenges
  • Allocate organic boosting budgets strategically to maximize reach and performance
  • Define the strategic direction for assigned social platforms, keeping a long-term vision in mind
  • Adapt quickly to performance signals, platform algorithm changes, and emerging features
  • Orchestrate with internal teams (titles, Brand, creative) to ensure high-quality content is delivered to social handles
  • Manage the social media agency relationship, overseeing platform planning and day-to-day management
  • Partner with social platforms to identify new opportunities and develop innovative activations
  • Track, analyze, and report results on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly cadence for stakeholders
  • Escalate and resolve issues proactively, making trade-off recommendations and meeting delivery timelines

Requirements / Skills

Amazon is looking for a candidate with proven experience managing large-scale social media for fast-moving brands, combined with a strong analytical mindset. You should be comfortable working across cross-functional teams and be confident steering both strategy and execution simultaneously.

  • 4+ years of professional (non-internship) marketing experience
  • Data and metrics expertise — experience using data to drive meaningful improvements
  • Excel or Tableau proficiency — including data manipulation, macros, charts, and pivot tables
  • Multi-campaign management — experience building and optimizing multiple simultaneous marketing campaigns
  • Cross-functional collaboration — experience within marketing and creative teams
  • Social media management for fast-paced brands with 1M+ followers
  • Social platform strategy and optimization experience
  • Agency management — experience managing social media and/or paid social agencies
  • Analytics and publishing tools — experience leveraging social media analytics platforms
  • Asset (not required): Experience in multi-territory campaign management or digital marketing and content production timelines
