About the Role: Member Service Assistant

Safety checks are a regular part of this job. You’ll conduct hourly warehouse safety and security inspections on foot, walk the warehouse and its perimeter, correct hazards such as spills, trip hazards, and blocked exits, complete inspection forms, present results to the duty manager, and attend warehouse safety meetings. Member-facing duties run alongside security responsibilities throughout the shift.

When members need help beyond a receipt check or a greeting, you’ll direct them to products and services, arrange loading assistance, and dry off wet carts. You’ll also assist in other areas of the warehouse as needed.

• Check member receipts at exit by comparing them to merchandise, mark receipts with a highlighter, and arrange prompt assistance for any discrepancy or concern
• Inspect bags, strollers, lunch pails, and briefcases at the exit; plug in returning electric scooters
• Perform after-hours perimeter security from a personal vehicle: monitor the exit door, communicate door status by two-way radio before it can be opened for employees, watch closing managers leave, and report suspicious activity to the duty manager or call police if necessary
• Direct members to product and service locations and arrange loading or shopping assistance
• Attend warehouse safety meetings and assist in other areas of the warehouse as necessary

Requirements / Skills
