Responsibilities

  • Operate the meat grinder, dump meat into the machine, and check fat content of each batch; follow department production procedures and standards for quality and consistency
  • Transfer cut and ground meat to styro trays and load onto wheeled racks for wrappers; assist with wrapping and stocking the meat case according to the Meat Manager’s merchandising plan
  • Clean and sanitize the work area throughout the day, complying with health codes, SSOPs, and proper temperature maintenance
  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery, equipment, and implements
  • Set up and perform seafood road shows as described in the Costco Seafood Road Show manual
  • Provide prompt and courteous member service at all times; assist in other areas of the warehouse as needed
