Responsibilities
Working on the electronics and major appliances sales floor means balancing member-facing service with behind-the-scenes department upkeep. From demonstrating the latest gadgets to restocking shelves and organizing the security lock-up, every task contributes to the overall member experience and department performance.
- Assist members with questions, product demonstrations, and loading merchandise into their carts
- Maintain product knowledge by reading industry magazines, product reviews, and experimenting with merchandise to understand features and specifications
- Communicate with the Area Manager regarding inventory quantities, pricing, delivery timelines, and promotional activity
- Follow merchandising standards by setting up, cleaning, and maintaining product displays; aligning and facing product to the front of shelves
- Process member returns by checking and approving returned product
- Verify signage accuracy by creating signs and confirming correct product markings
- Stock merchandise and participate in merchandise moves, reviewing forklift placement lists as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe sales floor and security lock-up area, including sweeping and debris removal
- Support other departments within the warehouse as required
Requirements / Skills
