Job Summary & Tips for Applying
Quick Summary & What to Highlight: The Service Technician position at Tesla in Sherbrooke covers diagnostic and repair work across the full Tesla vehicle lineup, including high-voltage systems after training. A candidate should put their Automotive Service Technicians Licence (or apprenticeship enrollment) front and centre, since the role requires it, and highlight their valid Class 5, G or G2 driver’s licence, which is a firm condition of employment.
Resume & Application Tips: Mirror the posting’s own terms on your resume: write “diagnostic and repair work” and “high-voltage” if you have that background, and name any provincial apprenticeship program you are enrolled in. If you hold a Section 609 Refrigerant handling certification, list it clearly since the posting flags it as preferred. Spell out your English-language work experience, because daily communication in English is a stated requirement. A line such as “Completed 40+ repair orders per month with zero comebacks over six months” gives a concrete sense of your output.
Interview Preparation: Come ready with a specific example of a time you managed several repair jobs at once and still met your deadlines, since the posting names workload organization as a requirement. Prepare to speak to how you document repairs, because consistent and concise documentation is listed as a duty. The posting does not state a start date or specify which technician level the offer will be at, so both are worth asking about, along with how the level determination affects the wage range.
