Responsibilities

The Inventory Control Supervisor at DHL Supply Chain plays a hands-on leadership role, balancing team coordination with process accountability. Day-to-day, you’ll be keeping inventory accurate, systems running smoothly, and your team supported — all while ensuring the site meets its contractual obligations to clients.

  • Monitor and report on customer inventory control accuracy and shrink contractual requirements to site leadership in a timely manner
  • Maximize performance of site inventory processes and systems, including care, custody, and control of customer inventory
  • Ensure accuracy relative to both the physical floor and the customer’s book inventory
  • Oversee proper utilization of information technology systems supporting inventory management
  • Provide required documentation to customers, financial statement auditors, or regulatory auditors as needed for compliance
  • Maintain a safe, secure, clean, and fair work environment for all associates
  • Conduct performance reviews, individual development plans, and succession planning for team members
  • Communicate and enforce company policies at appropriate levels across the team
  • Ensure associates are properly trained and have access to the tools needed to perform their assigned duties

Requirements / Skills

DHL Supply Chain is looking for someone who brings both technical knowledge and leadership experience to the table.   • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in an inventory or logistics role (required)
  • Knowledge of WMS and ERP systems such as JDA, Manhattan WMS, DMPLUS, or SAP (required)
