Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of UPS’s logistics operation. Package handling and movement between trailers and vehicles forms the core of the work, and doing it accurately and safely keeps the entire operation on track.
- Load and unload UPS packages into trailers or package cars
- Sort and scan packages to ensure accurate routing and delivery
- Stock packages within the facility according to UPS procedures
- Learn and apply UPS’s official package handling methods correctly
- Operate heavy machinery as required to complete warehouse tasks
- Perform additional tasks as assigned within a fast-paced warehouse environment
Requirements / Skills
- Physical capability to lift up to 70 lbs. (32 kg) regularly
- Ability to read and memorize postal codes accurately
- Flexible availability to work varying shift hours, up to 5 days per week
- Warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory
