About the Role: Package Handler

As a Package Handler at UPS Caledon, your day-to-day work centres on loading and unloading packages into and out of delivery vehicles and trailers, as well as sorting and stocking packages by postal code. The shift runs Sunday through Thursday, with start times between 12:00 PM and 1:30 PM and end times between 5:30 PM and 6:30 PM — averaging 3 to 5 hours per day, with flexibility required based on operational needs.

Working inside truck trailers and package delivery vehicles is part of the job, and you’ll be exposed to changing temperatures in a warehouse setting. UPS has established package handling methods that you’ll be trained on, so attention to detail and a willingness to follow proper procedures are essential to performing the role safely and effectively.

Benefits and Salary

This position starts at a pay rate of $18.15/hr, with automatic pay progression under the Union Collective Agreement — reaching a top rate of $30.11/hr after 48 months. Requirements / Skills

• Full availability Sunday through Thursday (all five days of the week)
• Legal eligibility to work up to 25 hours per week in Canada

• Comfort working inside truck trailers and package delivery vehicles
