About the Role: Material Handler
As a Material Handler at DHL Supply Chain, you’ll be responsible for operating powered warehouse equipment to move, locate, stack, and count product throughout the facility. Benefits and Salary

Responsibilities
The Material Handler role at DHL Supply Chain involves a variety of physical and operational tasks central to the daily functioning of the warehouse. From operating heavy equipment to verifying shipment accuracy, each responsibility contributes to keeping the supply chain running smoothly and meeting customer expectations.
- Operate powered warehouse equipment including forklifts and Reach Trucks to move, stack, and count product throughout the facility
- Pick and put-away product for shipment or stock, ensuring the correct number and type of products are loaded per customer order
- Verify inbound and outbound shipments by comparing quantity, quality, labelling, and addresses against customer orders
- Inspect all operated equipment daily and maintain the facility in a neat, clean, and orderly condition
- Monitor and change equipment batteries or LP tanks as required to ensure continued operation
- Report discrepancies such as non-available products, overages, shortages, and damage (OS&D)
- Assist with physical inventory counts as needed
- Work within SAP to support inventory management and accurate record-keeping
Requirements / Skills

- Ability to physically load product onto equipment, pallets, or totes for more than 20% of the shift
- Strong attention to detail when verifying product quantities, labelling, and customer order requirements
