About the Role: Integrated Warehouse Specialist (IWS)

As an Integrated Warehouse Specialist at DHL Global Forwarding, you’ll be responsible for controlling the movement of freight in and out of the warehouse and ensuring proper distribution throughout the facility. You’ll operate forklifts, maintain accurate records of freight movements, and track shipments for the IWS Department — all while keeping operations running smoothly and on schedule.

Working under the direction of the Warehouse Team Lead, you’ll be expected to follow company safety codes and regulations, handle both standard and non-conforming cargo appropriately, and contribute to a clean, organized warehouse environment. Benefits and Salary

This position offers a base hourly rate of $22.80 – $25.80 CAD, with the actual rate reflecting your skills, experience, and internal equity. The role is also eligible for an annual bonus, providing additional earning potential beyond the base wage. Responsibilities

The day-to-day work of an Integrated Warehouse Specialist at DHL covers the full freight lifecycle — from receiving and inspection through to staging, loading, and dispatch. These responsibilities are essential to maintaining the accuracy, safety, and efficiency of international freight operations at one of Canada’s busiest logistics hubs.

• Follow task instructions from the Warehouse Team Lead to prioritize and complete daily assignments efficiently
• Inspect all incoming cargo by performing test checks for piece count, weight, dimensions, and physical condition
• Issue documentation verifying test inspections for the IWS Department
• Identify and segregate non-conforming and dangerous goods cargo, notifying the relevant department and Team Leader
• Package cargo safely and securely for transport within and outside the warehouse facility
• Label shipments in accordance with the requirements of each applicable department
• Transfer cargo to staging areas for dispatch based on generated manifests
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, ocean containers, and airline pallets — ensuring trucks are chocked and in gear throughout
• Maintain clean working areas and adhere to all company safety codes and regulations
• Store cargo safely and efficiently within warehouse racks and designated bulk areas

Requirements / Skills
