About the Role: Casual Courier Driver
As a Casual Courier Driver at DHL Edmonton, you’ll be responsible for completing assigned delivery and pickup routes while also supporting warehouse operations during your shift. You’ll drive a van, handle parcels, scan and sort freight, and interact with customers both in person and over the phone. Responsibilities

- Drive a van to complete assigned deliveries and pickups on schedule

- Move freight within the warehouse area as required by the supervisor
- Assist the Tracing Department with warehouse checks for missorts and on-hands
- Interact with customers in person and over the phone in a professional manner
- Complete reporting accurately and participate in warehouse organization and clean-up
- Maintain a safe and cooperative work environment at all times
Requirements / Skills
DHL is looking for candidates who are dependable, physically capable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics environment. Strong time management and a customer-first attitude are central to success in this role.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Warehouse knowledge — broad general understanding of warehouse functions
- MS Office proficiency, including comfortable use of Excel
- Interpersonal skills — ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with customers
- Physical capability to handle heavy, bulky, and awkward shipments and stand for extended periods
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks within tight time constraints
- Minimum one year of warehouse or customer service experience (considered an asset)
- Familiarity with First Choice Programs and Global SOPs (considered an asset)
