About the Role: Audiologist (Licensed)
As the Dispensing Audiologist at this Ajax location, you’ll be responsible for the full scope of hearing assessment and hearing instrument dispensing. This includes everything from initial case history through to fitting, verification, and validation of hearing instruments. You’ll work within established infection control, privacy, and confidentiality standards, maintaining thorough records throughout.

Responsibilities
The Dispensing Audiologist role covers the complete clinical pathway — from initial assessment through to post-fitting follow-up. These responsibilities require both technical expertise and a member-first mindset to deliver quality outcomes consistently.
- Conduct hearing assessments including history taking, air and bone conduction thresholds, and speech testing for the purpose of dispensing hearing aids
- Perform hearing aid evaluations, recommendations, fittings, verification, and validation of hearing instrument performance
- Complete dispensing tasks such as impression taking, shell repair, and modification of hearing instruments
- Adhere to all infection control, privacy, and confidentiality standards
- Maintain appropriate and complete records and documentation
- Stay knowledgeable about all products and services related to the hearing centre
- Deliver the highest level of member service consistently
- Collaborate with support personnel to ensure appropriate allocation of work tasks
- Assist in other areas of the warehouse as necessary
Requirements / Skills
This role is suited to a fully qualified Dispensing Audiologist who brings strong clinical skills alongside excellent communication and organizational abilities. Costco values professionals who can balance technical precision with genuine member-centred care.
- Master’s Degree in Audiology with all qualifications to dispense hearing aids in Ontario
- Registration (or eligibility for registration) with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario
- Clinical experience in audiology is preferred

- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and counselling skills with a focus on member service
- Proficient computer skills relevant to clinical documentation and operations
