Night Warehouse Associate – UPS – Concord, ON

UPS is hiring a Night Warehouse Associate at their Concord, Ontario facility — a part-time, permanent position suited to people who don’t mind rolling up their sleeves and putting in a solid night’s work. About the Role: Night Warehouse Associate

As a Night Warehouse Associate, your primary focus will be on loading and unloading packages from UPS delivery vehicles and trailers, as well as sorting and stocking packages based on postal codes. You’ll learn and apply UPS-established package handling methods to ensure accuracy and efficiency throughout each shift.

This is a unionized position, which means you’ll benefit from collective agreement protections and automatic pay progression. The work takes place inside a warehouse environment, including inside truck trailers and package delivery vehicles, so comfort with physically demanding conditions and variable temperatures is important.

Benefits and Salary

This role starts at $18.15 per hour with automatic wage progression as per the existing Union Collective Agreement. Weekly pay is issued every Friday via direct deposit. Benefits include tuition reimbursement of up to $2,000 per semester (subject to eligibility and program approval), paid training, personal paid days off, and 2 weeks of paid vacation after one year of service. After one year, you’ll also gain access to extended health care benefits covering vision, health, life insurance, and dental. Note that monthly union dues of approximately $52/month apply, along with a one-time $50 union initiation fee deducted after 90 working days.

Responsibilities

Each night, Night Warehouse Associates at UPS play a key role in keeping Canada’s package delivery network running on schedule. The work is hands-on and requires focus, physical stamina, and a willingness to follow established safety and handling procedures.

• Load and unload packages into and out of UPS package delivery vehicles and trailers
• Sort and stock packages accurately based on postal codes
• Learn and execute company-established package handling methods correctly and consistently
• Work safely inside truck trailers and package delivery vehicles throughout each shift
• Maintain pace in a fast-paced, physically demanding warehouse environment

Requirements / Skills

• Physical fitness: ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (35 kg)
• Full availability: must be available to work all five days, Monday to Friday

• Comfort with physical work: at ease in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
• Adaptability: comfortable working inside truck trailers and package delivery vehicles
• Availability to work 25 hours per week as required
