Delivery Driver – Costco – East Gwillimbury, ON
Location: Ontario | Company: Costco Wholesale
Based out of the Costco Business Centre at 18182 Yonge Street in East Gwillimbury, Ontario, this Delivery Driver position puts you behind the wheel of a commercial truck serving business members across the region. If you hold a valid Class D licence with air brake endorsement and take pride in safe, professional driving, this could be a solid fit.
Day to day, you’ll be responsible for delivering merchandise to Costco members’ places of business, handling everything from pre-trip safety checks to collecting payments and completing delivery paperwork. It’s a role that blends commercial driving with genuine customer interaction and physical hands-on work.
About the Role: Delivery Driver
As a Delivery Driver at the Costco Business Centre, you’ll operate a commercial truck with air brakes and hydraulic lift to transport and unload orders for business members. Each shift involves reviewing your route, inspecting the vehicle, managing invoices, and ensuring every delivery is accurate and accounted for. You’ll use a manual pallet jack and hand truck/dolly to move merchandise and work the hydraulic lift to bring goods down safely from the truck.
Beyond driving, you’ll be expected to maintain professional member service standards — verifying quantities, handling substitutions, collecting payments, and issuing return receipts when needed. Traffic law compliance at the municipal, provincial, and federal level is non-negotiable, and you’ll be expected to apply defensive and courteous driving habits at all times. Back at the Business Centre, you’ll assist with loading and unloading and support other areas of the Fleet department as required.
