About the Role: Tesla Advisor, Sales
As a Tesla Advisor, your day-to-day involves welcoming walk-in guests, explaining Tesla’s lineup of products, and moving prospective buyers through the sales pipeline — from their first test drive to finalising paperwork on delivery day. You’ll be expected to consistently hit monthly sales targets and KPIs while maintaining a high standard of customer service throughout the process.
Beyond sales, this role requires staying sharp on EV trends, local government incentives, and Tesla’s evolving product offerings. You may also be asked to perform direct deliveries to customer homes and handle additional tasks as business needs arise. Collaboration, organisation, and a positive energy are key to thriving here.
Benefits and Salary
Tesla offers competitive hourly compensation for this role. The Tesla Advisor, Sales 2 range is $23.76–$35.64/hour, and the Sales 3 range is $30.29–$45.44/hour, plus cash and stock awards at all levels. Pay may vary based on market location, skills, and experience. Responsibilities
As a Tesla Advisor, your responsibilities span the full customer journey — from a first conversation on the showroom floor to a successful vehicle delivery. - Greet and engage walk-in guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages open and productive conversations
- Educate and excite prospective customers across multiple channels about Tesla’s product offerings and innovations
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline by collecting customer information and facilitating test drives for potential buyers
- Deliver exceptional service throughout the full sales cycle, including customer education, vehicle preparation, and document completion
- Meet and exceed individual monthly sales targets and KPIs, actively contributing to overall team goals
- Stay current on Tesla’s products and services, EV trends, and local incentives to provide accurate and compelling information
- Perform additional duties as assigned, including direct deliveries to customer homes when required
Requirements / Skills
Tesla is looking for someone who brings genuine enthusiasm for sustainable energy alongside proven experience in customer service or sales. The ideal candidate is organised, communicates with confidence, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- 1+ years of customer service and/or sales experience with a demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding goals
- Passion for Tesla’s mission and genuine interest in sustainable personal transportation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills combined with excellent organisational ability
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools
- Valid Class 5, G, or G2 driver’s licence (Canadian) required and must be maintained throughout employment
- Motor vehicle salesperson licence/certificate required for roles in ON, MB, AB, and BC — check eligibility with your provincial regulator before applying, as this is a condition of employment
- Availability to work evening hours, weekends, and holidays in a retail setting
