Bakery InStore Clerk Part Time Day – Loblaws – Toronto, ON

Loblaws is looking for a Bakery InStore Clerk to join their team at the 12 St Clair Ave E location in Toronto, Ontario. This is a part-time, daytime position suited to someone who takes pride in keeping shelves stocked, delivering solid customer service, and contributing to a well-run department.

Day to day, you’ll be working on the floor in the bakery department — ensuring products are displayed properly, customers are looked after, and the department stays clean, organized, and fully stocked. It’s hands-on, active work in a fast-paced retail environment.

About the Role: Bakery InStore Clerk

As a Bakery InStore Clerk at Loblaws, you’ll be responsible for keeping the bakery section running smoothly. That means stocking and maintaining product displays, responding to customer questions, ensuring accurate product scanning, and helping with inventory management. You’ll also assist in setting up company-directed promotions and programs as directed.

Working as part of a store team, you’ll be expected to uphold health and safety standards and keep your department area tidy and organized at all times. Collaboration and attention to detail are key in this role — and Loblaws provides full training to set you up for success from day one.

Benefits and Salary

This position offers a starting hourly wage of $17.60 to $18.45. It is a unionized position, and pay rates are governed by the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Responsibilities

Working on the floor of the bakery department, you’ll handle a range of tasks that keep the store running well and customers coming back. These responsibilities require someone who’s reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable staying on their feet throughout a shift.

• Provide great customer service by ensuring shelves are stocked and responding promptly to customer needs
• Maintain and stock product displays and shelves to meet company standards
• Ensure accurate product scanning and identify inventory needs, assisting with ordering as required
• Set up company-directed promotions and programs as instructed
• Keep the department area neat and maintain health and safety standards at all times
