Responsibilities
Day-to-day work in this role centres on keeping freight moving accurately and on time. From the moment packages arrive at the facility to when they’re dispatched, Package Handlers play a direct role in maintaining the integrity of the FedEx delivery network.
- Load and unload freight at the facility, ensuring packages are handled with care
- Scan and sort freight accurately to support efficient routing and delivery
- Transport freight within and between facilities as required
- Complete all required training, including basic and recurrency training, to maintain operational standards
- Operate in a PC Windows environment as part of daily scanning and tracking duties
- Work varying shifts based on business needs while maintaining performance thresholds
Requirements / Skills

- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Valid full G driver’s licence with a good driving record (two or fewer violations/accidents in the past 24 months) required
