About the Role: Seasonal Courier

As a Seasonal Courier at FedEx Canada, your primary responsibility is the safe and efficient pick-up and delivery of packages along an assigned route. You’ll load your van, plan your stops, and ensure every shipment is handled in accordance with FedEx Canada’s features of service. Customer-facing by nature, this position requires professionalism, accuracy, and a solid understanding of delivery protocols.

Beyond driving, couriers play an important role in compliance and quality control — checking that shipments are properly labelled, paperwork is accurate, and customers have the FedEx shipping materials they need. You’ll also operate computerized tracking and dispatch systems, and may assist with aircraft or container loading, unloading, and package scanning based on location and workload demands.

Responsibilities

Seasonal Couriers at FedEx Cambridge handle a wide range of tasks each shift — from route planning and package inspection to customer service and system data entry.   • Deliver and pick up packages safely and efficiently along an assigned route while representing FedEx in a professional manner

  • Identify sales leads from existing customers and communicate market changes to the sales department
  • Maintain security of packages, equipment, and vehicles at all times
  • Assist with aircraft and/or container loading, unloading, sorting, and scanning as workload dictates

Requirements / Skills
