About the Role: WHS Specialist

Benefits and Salary

This position offers a base salary range of $29.00 to $40.00 CAD per hour, with total compensation potentially including sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Requirements / Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations, specifically 29 CFR 1910
  • Minimum 1 year in an EHS-related field, OR a Bachelor’s degree in an EHS-relevant discipline, OR 6 months performing a safety-related role within Amazon
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel in a professional setting
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality in sensitive workplace situations
  • Asset: experience in workers’ compensation case management, emergency response, or holding current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Asset: experience leading and managing a team, conducting job hazard analyses, and analyzing accident data
