Benefits and Salary

Amazon offers a competitive base salary ranging from $128,100 to $214,000 CAD annually for this role in Vancouver. Total compensation may also include sign-on payments and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, basic life and AD&D), a Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP), paid time off, and additional wellness resources. Final compensation is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Technical Program Manager at Amazon AFFS, your day-to-day work involves orchestrating complex technical programs across multiple teams and time zones. These responsibilities are central to ensuring that financial systems are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standard of quality.

  • Partner with stakeholders including project sponsors, business teams, and engineering groups to define and deliver features

Requirements / Skills

The ideal candidate brings deep experience working directly with engineering teams and has a proven track record managing large-scale technical programs in a fast-paced environment.   • 7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams
  • 5+ years of technical program or product management experience working alongside software engineering teams
  • 3+ years of software development experience to support technical credibility and cross-team collaboration
  • Experience managing cross-functional programs, building processes, and coordinating release schedules
  • 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management (preferred)
  • Experience defining KPIs and SLAs used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership (preferred)
