You’ll work alongside cross-functional teams including Solutions Architects, Partner Sales, and Demand Generation Representatives to craft the right approach for each account.
About the Role: Cloud Sales Representative
As a CSR at AWS Canada, you’ll manage a full sales cycle — from prospecting and discovery through to negotiating and closing. You’ll engage C-Level executives and technical stakeholders alike, working backwards from their goals to identify how AWS services can deliver measurable business outcomes. You’ll actively build pipeline through both inbound marketing leads and outbound prospecting campaigns, while also leveraging the Amazon Partner Network — including System Integrators and Technology partners — to accelerate adoption and grow revenue.
Collaboration is a big part of the role. You’ll coordinate with internal specialists and Business Development Representatives to meet unique customer needs, and you’ll track all activity and forecast pipeline and sales targets using Salesforce CRM. AWS also encourages its sales team to innovate — finding creative ways to support cloud adoption across regions and contributing to the broader rollout of effective sales strategies.
Benefits and Salary
The base salary range for this position in Vancouver, BC is $91,600 to $153,100 CAD annually. As a total compensation company, Amazon’s package may also include sign-on payments, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and sales incentives. Responsibilities
The Cloud Sales Representative plays a pivotal role in growing AWS consumption across Canadian commercial accounts. Your responsibilities span the entire sales cycle — from identifying opportunities to closing deals — all while keeping customer outcomes front and centre. - Achieve revenue targets including annual quota, new workloads launched, and pipeline creation and progression goals
- Drive net new business through one-to-one and one-to-many outbound campaigns, while qualifying and advancing inbound leads from marketing and partner channels
- Expand AWS service adoption within existing customer accounts through structured account planning and management
- Engage C-Level decision-makers to develop and execute strategic plans that align AWS capabilities with their business objectives
- Manage full sales cycles including prospecting, discovery, demos, building technical and business cases, negotiations, and closing
- Track all pipeline activity and maintain accurate forecasting in Salesforce CRM
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Demand Generation, Solutions Architects, Partner Sales, Business Development, and Specialist teams

Requirements / Skills
