Senior Solutions Architect, Healthcare Canada Public Sector – Amazon – Vancouver, BC

Location: Vancouver, BC | Company: Amazon

AWS is at the forefront of a major technology shift in Canadian healthcare, and they’re looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to lead that charge in British Columbia. If you’re someone who gets energized by solving complex technical problems alongside healthcare customers — and you can hold your own in a boardroom just as comfortably as in a deep-dive architecture session — this role at Amazon Web Services Canada is worth a close look.

This isn’t a passive advisory role. You’ll be hands-on with technology, authoring whitepapers, delivering technical webinars, speaking at public events, and even filing patents. You’ll work directly with BC healthcare customers to design resilient, secure, and high-performing AWS cloud solutions — all while building trust and expanding AWS adoption across the public sector.

About the Role: Senior Solutions Architect, Healthcare Canada Public Sector

As a Senior Solutions Architect within the Canadian Public Sector team, you’ll own customer technical engagements end-to-end. That means diving deep into architecture discussions with engineers, translating complex concepts for non-technical executives, leading RFI and RFP technical responses, and supporting strategic solution providers with AWS-oriented implementations. You’ll work closely with account managers and business developers to ensure customers succeed in building and migrating applications to the AWS cloud.

This role carries a strong thought-leadership component. You’ll gain industry recognition as a speaker at conferences and trade shows, contribute to the AWS Solutions Architecture community, and help shape how healthcare organizations across BC approach cloud technology. Experience with Canadian Public Sector compliance standards, security frameworks, and healthcare environments will set you apart in this position.
