  • Sort, collect, and deliver mail items in a safe, accurate, and timely manner across rural and suburban routes
  • Acquire and maintain thorough knowledge of local roads, customers, and delivery receptacles in the Clinton area
  • Secure mail properly at all times while in your possession to prevent loss or damage
  • Process Canada Post products and services including Change of Address Notifications, Damaged Mail reports, and Items Delivered Bills (IDB)
  • Wear Canada Post identification visibly at all times while collecting and delivering mail
  • Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lb (22.7 kg) as part of regular duties
  • Operate a motor vehicle safely in all weather and traffic conditions throughout the delivery route

  • Automobile liability insurance that covers use of your vehicle for Canada Post delivery purposes
  • Experience making deliveries and operating a motor vehicle in various weather and traffic conditions
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lb (22.7 kg) regularly throughout the shift
  • Residency within 75 km of the Clinton Post Office is preferred for area-of-competition purposes
