About the Role: Package Handler – Hub Day

Responsibilities

In this role, your primary focus is the safe, efficient handling of UPS parcels throughout the hub. Every task you carry out contributes directly to on-time deliveries and a smooth logistics chain for customers across Calgary and beyond.

  • Load and unload UPS packages into trailers and package cars accurately and safely
  • Sort and scan packages according to postal codes and routing requirements
  • Stock packages in designated areas within the facility
  • Learn and apply UPS’s established package handling methods and procedures
  • Operate heavy machinery as required to complete warehouse tasks
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned in a fast-paced environment

Requirements / Skills

  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (32 kg) regularly throughout your shift
  • Ability to read and memorize postal codes for accurate package sorting
  • Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week on a Sunday–Thursday schedule
  • Warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory
  • Punctuality and reliability in reporting for variable start times as early as 11 am
