Responsibilities
As a FedEx Courier, your workday revolves around keeping deliveries on schedule and customers satisfied. From loading your vehicle in the morning to completing your last drop-off, every task contributes to FedEx Canada’s commitment to reliable, on-time service.
- Pick up and deliver packages on an assigned route in a courteous and efficient manner
- Verify shipments for conformance to Federal Express Canada features of service before and during delivery
- Provide customer service functions related to deliveries, including addressing questions and concerns at the door
- Operate within Canadian Customs regulations and FedEx Canada operational standards
- Handle packages safely, including lifting up to 70 lbs and manoeuvring packages up to 150 lbs using appropriate equipment
- Complete mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training and any required recurrence training
- Adapt to varying schedules and work holidays as required based on business needs
Requirements / Skills

- High school diploma or educational equivalent required

- Knowledge of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations considered an asset
