About the Role: Quality Assurance Supervisor

As the Quality Assurance Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for planning and coordinating all aspects of QA at the site. You’ll serve as the go-to customer contact for quality-related issues, manage the audit process, and ensure compliance with regulatory bodies such as the FDA, DEA, and Health Canada. Responsibilities

In this role, every day involves balancing regulatory compliance, team leadership, and quality system management. From conducting audits to developing associates, the Quality Assurance Supervisor plays a critical role in keeping operations running smoothly and in line with customer and regulatory expectations.

  • Support and coordinate all quality assurance activities at the site level, responding to requests from internal stakeholders
  • Manage the audit process to monitor the quality system and ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements
  • Act as the primary QA customer contact for the site, communicating policies, procedures, and issue resolution
  • Support ISO registration and other compliance-related activities as applicable
  • Assist management in analyzing information and product specifications to determine compliance with regulatory bodies including FDA, DEA, and Health Canada
  • Drive continuous improvement of the overall quality system on an ongoing basis
  • Lead the hiring, training, and development of QA associates at the site
  • Track and report quality assurance metrics and partner with QA management to develop and maintain regular management reports
  • Read and interpret technical documents and regulatory requirements relevant to the operation

Requirements / Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or 1–3 years of relevant work experience (required)

  • 1–3 years of management or supervisory experience, preferably overseeing a quality system in a complex/matrix organization (preferred)
  • Quality control certification such as RAC or Six Sigma (preferred)
  • Strong ability to read, interpret, and apply technical documents and regulatory requirements
