About the Role: Quality Assurance Supervisor

Responsibilities
The Quality Assurance Supervisor at DHL Supply Chain is responsible for a broad range of quality-related activities that keep operations compliant and efficient. From day-to-day site support to strategic reporting, this role is central to the integrity of the quality system in Bolton.
- Support planning and coordination of all quality assurance activities at the site level
- Act as the primary QA contact for site teams and customers on quality-related issues and initiatives
- Manage the audit process to monitor the quality system and ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements
- Support ISO registration and other applicable compliance activities
- Assist management in analyzing product specifications and information for compliance with agencies including FDA, DEA, and Health Canada
- Provide support on key regulatory, customer, and third-party audits
- Hire, train, and develop QA associates on the team
- Track QA metrics and partner with QA management to develop and distribute regular management reports
- Read and interpret technical documents, product specifications, and applicable regulations
Requirements / Skills
The ideal candidate brings a combination of regulatory knowledge, supervisory experience, and a proactive approach to quality management. - Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or 1–3 years of relevant work experience (required); a graduate degree is preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in a regulated environment such as FDA (USA) or Health Canada (required)
- 1–3 years of management or supervisory experience, preferably overseeing a quality system in a complex or matrix organization (preferred)
- Experience in food manufacturing or food co-packing facilities and GFSI Food Safety certification schemes is a strong asset
- Quality certifications such as RAC or Six Sigma are preferred
- Strong communication skills for customer-facing interactions and cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and regulatory requirements
