This isn’t a typical PM role. You’ll be working on science and tech products that directly influence how Amazon manages its Private Brands supply chain — an imports-heavy business with long lead times, direct supplier relationships, and order planning windows of 3 to 6 months ahead of customer demand. The decisions you help shape could unlock millions in cost savings and hundreds of millions in topline growth.

About the Role: Product Manager Technical, Amazon Private Brands Supply Chain Tech

In this role, you’ll own the product roadmap for supply chain optimization tools that address some genuinely difficult challenges: determining which suppliers to source from, how much inventory to order, where to store product (origin vs. destination country), and how to keep inventory health balanced between overstock costs and lost-sale risks from going out of stock. These problems are compounded by the reality that if stock runs out, it can take months to recover — making precision in buying decisions absolutely critical.

You’ll be working cross-functionally, bringing together science, engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver on shared goals. Strong written and verbal communication is essential, as is a bias for action and the analytical depth to engage meaningfully with technical teams. The environment is fast-moving, and you’ll need to be comfortable making decisions with incomplete data while keeping long-term free cash flow in view.
