About the Role: Post Office Assistant
As a Post Office Assistant, you’ll be responsible for providing counter services to walk-in customers, selling postal products, and handling day-to-day mail operations. You’ll sort and distribute mail into proper classifications, supply customers with the forms and information they need, and work through any delivery or service challenges in a timely manner.
This role calls for physical readiness — you’ll be expected to lift mail containers up to 50 lbs, push or pull boxes, and stand for extended periods. Bilingual proficiency in English and French is required for this position. Requirements / Skills

- High school diploma or provincial equivalency and/or relevant experience in business administration
- Customer service experience in a retail or service environment, including sales and cash handling
- Bilingual (English and French) — Bilingual Imperative (–BB) is required for this role
- Familiarity with accounting systems, particularly post office or general business accounting
- Physical fitness to lift containers up to 50 lbs, push/pull boxes, and stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to be available for on-call, temporary work as needed
