About the Role: Order Filler Picker
As an Order Filler Picker at DHL Supply Chain’s Markham facility, your core focus is the safe, secure, and accurate filling of customer orders. Using pick sheets or a handheld RF computer, you’ll retrieve merchandise from bins and shelves, making sure the correct product type and quantity are loaded and ready for shipment. Accuracy and attention to detail are central to everything you do in this role.
Beyond picking orders, you’ll contribute to inventory accuracy, assist with physical inventory counts, and use non-powered material handling equipment to transport orders to shipping areas. Keeping your workspace clean, organised, and safe is also part of the daily routine — DHL holds high standards for warehouse safety and workplace order.
Benefits and Salary
This position pays $19.25 per hour. Responsibilities
Day to day, this role keeps the warehouse moving. As an Order Filler Picker, you’ll be working closely with your team to ensure every customer order leaves the facility accurately and on time. These responsibilities form the backbone of DHL’s warehouse operations in Markham.
- Pick customer orders efficiently and accurately, ensuring the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped
- Count product inventory by location with precision, maintaining accurate stock records
- Transport orders to shipping locations using non-powered material handling equipment
- Assist with physical inventories as required to support warehouse accuracy
- Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work area in line with DHL’s safety and organisational standards
- Use RF equipment and PCs to process and manage order information
- Work collaboratively within a team environment to meet daily shipping targets
Requirements / Skills
