Operations Manager – DHL Supply Chain – Toronto, ON

DHL Supply Chain is looking for an Operations Manager (Operations Manager II) to join their team in North York, Ontario. As part of one of the world’s most recognized names in contract logistics, this role puts you at the centre of warehouse operations for a company that manages over 150 million square feet of warehouse space across North America. About the Role: Operations Manager II

As an Operations Manager II at DHL Supply Chain, your primary focus will be on operational efficiency, team development, and customer satisfaction. You’ll be responsible for leading a diverse group of Supervisors and indirect reports, developing workflows, standardizing processes, and implementing best practices that reduce costs and increase productivity. This is a role that requires both strategic thinking and strong people leadership.

Beyond day-to-day management, you’ll partner with Human Resources and site leadership on hiring and talent development, ensure health and safety compliance is consistently upheld, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to meet and exceed customer expectations. Benefits and Salary

This position offers a national salary range of $75,000 to $90,000, with additional bonus potential. Responsibilities

This role encompasses a wide range of operational and leadership responsibilities. From managing warehouse workflows and labour planning to compiling performance reports and engaging directly with customers, the Operations Manager II is expected to be a visible, active leader who drives results through their team every single day.

• Lead and develop a diverse team of Supervisors and indirect reports through coaching, guidance, and ongoing support
• Design and implement efficient workflows, labour plans, and standardized processes to boost productivity and reduce operational costs
• Uphold health and safety compliance proactively, fostering a culture of heightened safety awareness across the facility
• Compile and analyze comprehensive reports on KPIs including productivity and accuracy metrics to support continuous improvement
• Facilitate open communication between leadership and associates to promote transparency, alignment, and teamwork
• Partner with Human Resources and site leadership to support the hiring and selection of high-quality Supervisors
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and timely fulfillment of customer orders
• Engage with customers directly to address concerns and drive exceptional customer satisfaction

Requirements / Skills

DHL Supply Chain is looking for a candidate who brings solid logistics industry experience combined with proven people management skills. The ideal candidate is organized, data-driven, and has the leadership presence to motivate a large team in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred for this role
• Minimum 1 year of logistics industry experience is required
• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or management role is required
• Experience with P&L management, objective setting, and project management is preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams and with customers
• Commitment to safety and compliance with the ability to champion a safety-first culture
