Forklift Operator – DHL Supply Chain – Mississauga, ON
Location: Mississauga, ON | Company: DHL
DHL Supply Chain is one of the world’s largest logistics operations, and they’re growing their team in Mississauga, Ontario. This full-time Forklift Operator / Packing Operator role is a dual-function position that puts you right at the heart of a specialized warehousing operation — picking and packing parts for airplane engines. If you’re experienced with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and thrive in a structured, fast-paced environment, this is worth your attention.
Working an afternoon shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday to Friday, you’ll be part of a cross-trained team responsible for both picking and packing operations, operating powered equipment, and ensuring inventory accuracy throughout the facility. The role carries real responsibility — and real pay to match.
About the Role: Forklift Operator / Packing Operator
This position centres on the safe and efficient operation of powered material handling equipment — including forklifts, clamp trucks, and Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) order pickers — to move, locate, stack, and count product across the warehouse floor. You’ll be involved in both inbound and outbound product verification, ensuring items are free of damage, properly coded, and match customer requirements before they’re shipped out.
Accuracy and compliance are a big part of this role. You’ll be expected to follow all OSHA and MSDS standards, maintain detailed records for inventory accuracy, and keep your equipment and work area in clean, orderly condition throughout every shift. Cross-training in picking and packing means your skill set grows as the role does.
Benefits and Salary
This full-time position pays $23.50 per hour. DHL offers a solid benefits package for full-time associates, including medical and dental coverage, basic life insurance, accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, short-term and long-term disability, and access to optional critical illness coverage. Retirement savings options include a DCPP, RRSP, and TFSA. Additional perks include paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, and an education reimbursement program for those looking to develop professionally. DHL has been certified as a Great Place to Work® and Top Employer in Canada for three consecutive years.
